In 2005 we set out to build a better zipline. At that time all that was available were cheap plastic trolleys running on thin cable. We pulled some material out of the machine shop and fabricated the first D&D Flyer trolley. Knowing the zipline would bring out the kid in all of us, we designed and built it strong enough for the adult parents (and some grandparents) to use. Our zipline kits are still built out of those same heavy duty, industrial strength materials today.
Our material prices continue to rise but our zip line prices do not. We are big fans of Lean Manufacturing and are relentlessly removing waste from our manufacturing processes to keep our prices down. These systems are built to last for generations; we hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
